Hawamahal

Hawa Mahal is a princess-palace in Jaipur, capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798 and it was designed by architect Lal Chand Usta like any 'Rajmukut'. The name of the Hawa Mahal was kept as the high walls were built for women in the palace so that they could easily observe the festival outside the castle and see them. This palace is made of red and pink sandstone stones.
