There are many apartments such as Kush Mahal Bhaag Mahal, Dhola Mahal, Flower Palace, and Ajjan Niwas. Facilities available in the castle include a bar, a swimming pool, and a conference hall.

A dam was constructed to meet Udaipur's drinking and irrigation needs, in which the lake was built. Maharana Udai Singh was greatly influenced by the lake environment, so he decided to build Udaipur city on the banks of this lake. The lake is spread over 696 hectares, and its maximum depth is 8.5 meters. In these years, the area around the lake was developed and the construction of temples, palaces and houses was started.
