Udaipur is a city and tourist place in Rajasthan which is famous for its history, culture and its horoscopes. It was founded by Maharana Uday Singh in 1559. Due to its lakes, this city is also known as the city of lakes. Mewar Festival is celebrated in Udaipur, Rajasthan in the month of March or April. This is the second living cultural festival of India which is celebrated annually in Udaipur. The Mewar Festival is celebrated for three days. This three-day festival welcomes the beginning of spring. During this festival, idols of Gangaur and Isar are distributed as a procession through different parts of the city. With the leadership of the ancient culture and tradition of India in Udaipur, it is celebrated in Rajasthan to protect all the living heritage of Mewar.
