City Palace Udaipur Rajasthan

City Palace Udaipur is a palace built in the Rajasthan state of India. It was constructed almost 400 years ago, in which many rulers of the Mewar Empire contributed to it. City Palace is the most beautiful of palatial buildings in Udaipur. It is considered the largest of its kind in Rajasthan. Maharana Uday Singh constructed the palace as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput tribe in 1559. It is located on near Pichola Lake. There are 11 castles in the City Palace campus. The structure shows an ideal combination of Mughal and Rajasthani style architecture. It is built on top of a hill and provides an air view of the whole city. There are many domes, courtyard, corridor, rooms, pavilions, towers, and hanging gardens in the palace, which enhance its beauty.
