Lake Pichola Udaipur Rajasthan


Pichola Lake situated in Udaipur city is an artificial lake which was developed in 1362 AD, and it has been named after the village named Pichholi. A dam was constructed to meet Udaipur's drinking and irrigation needs, in which the lake was built. Maharana Udai Singh was greatly influenced by the lake environment, so he decided to build Udaipur city on the banks of this lake. The lake is spread over 696 hectares, and its maximum depth is 8.5 meters. In these years, the area around the lake was developed and the construction of temples, palaces and houses was started. In the vicinity of the lake, the passenger can see the natini it is a platform to pick up, which was made in honor of the story of 'Natini' and its curse that runs on one of the ropes. The passenger's tanga, taxis and auto rickshaws can reach the lake.
